Hello! My name is Prabhat Seelamsetti and I am a 22-year-old incoming student at New York University (Fall ‘23), pursuing a masters degree (MA) in news and documentary.
Since beginning in my career path, I have acquired some fantastic experience and built strong relations within the field of sports and journalism. To date I have: - Become a Media Member for the Dallas Mavericks - Covered Super Bowl LV and Super Bowl LVI as a member of media week - Produced professional level photography, video and content for a number of major news outlets, major organizations and notable social media influencers. - Produced multiple professional level podcasts with advanced audio and video composition. - Covered High School Football, Basketball and Baseball for SBLive, one of the biggest high school sports publications in the country, who is partnered with Sports Illustrated - Worked for ASU State Press as the Women's Soccer team beat writer and photographer - Titled as the primary beat writer for the Dallas Mavericks and Dallas Cowboys at Back Sports Page - Called numerous high school sporting events in my district as both the lead PBP & Color commentator
This has been a truly great experience for me and I have really grown to love the field of journalism. I hope to continue building upon my knowledge and become more well-rounded in my craft and prominence within the field. I am currently looking for employment in New York City, remote, hybrid or in-person. Also willing to work entirely remote.
